COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet McNaught unexpectedly became the brightest comet in decades in January 2007. Predictions suggested it could become one of the brightest of the past century. For a few days, its short tail and bright coma were visible to the unaided eye near the horizon at sunset and sunrise.
