COSMIC MESSAGE

The glowing Orion Nebula and the dark Horsehead Nebula are fifteen hundred light-years away in the constellation Orion. This mosaic, taken with a digital camera, shows them in contrasting cosmic vistas. The Orion Nebula, also known as M42, is an emission region at the upper right. To its left is a bluish reflection nebula, sometimes called the Running Man.
