COSMIC MESSAGE
The Trifid Nebula, M20, is a star-forming region 5,000 light-years away in Sagittarius. It shows three types of nebulae: red emission nebulae from hydrogen atoms, blue reflection nebulae from dust reflecting starlight, and dark nebulae where dense dust clouds appear in silhouette.
