A Raging Storm System on Saturn

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

One of the largest and longest-lived storms in our Solar System raged on Saturn. First observed late last year, this cloud formation in Saturn's northern hemisphere started larger than Earth and spread around the entire planet. The Cassini spacecraft, orbiting Saturn, tracked the storm. In this false-color infrared image, orange indicates deep clouds, while light colors show higher clouds.
