COSMIC MESSAGE
This image captures NGC 3227, a large spiral, and NGC 3226, a smaller elliptical galaxy, in a gravitational dance. They are known as Arp 94 in the catalog of peculiar galaxies. The sensitive imaging reveals faint tidal streams of stars, flung from the galaxies during their close encounters, over 50 million light-years away in Leo.
