COSMIC MESSAGE
The Dark Doodad Nebula is a dusty cosmic cloud in the constellation Musca, visible against rich starfields. It stretches about 3 degrees across the sky, just south of the Coalsack Nebula and the Southern Cross. At its southern tip is the globular star cluster NGC 4372, which is a background object about 20,000 light-years away in the halo of our Milky Way Galaxy.
