COSMIC MESSAGE
The Horsehead Nebula, a dark cloud cataloged as Barnard 33, is sculpted by stellar winds and radiation. This five-light-year-tall structure is visible because its dust is silhouetted against the glowing red emission nebula IC 434. Stars are actively forming within this cloud, located 1,500 light-years away in the Orion cloud complex.
